The 10th National Petanque competition as know as the prime minister Cup of Lao, the competition would open on June 30 to July 4th 2018 at Xiengkhuaong province.

There are 8 teams of competitors, from6 ministries, 4 organizations and other Petanque clubs from nation wild. The game divide to 4 categories: single, couple, team and honor team. This competition, Lao Brewery support for development of Sport and athletes in Laos for over 88 million Kip. The ceremony handover by Mr. Victor Cheong, Marketing Director of Lao Brewery, and received by Mr. Bounton Chanthaphone, the governor of Xiengkhuaong province, and the honor guest was Mr. Buaolarn Silipangha, vice minister of Education and Sport, Mr Sompoo Phongsa, assistant to minister of Education and Sport, involve employees and journalists.
