On 10th May 2019, a ceremony was held at the Lao Brewery Head Office for signing of contract by Lao Brewery to purchase rice for its Beer production from domestic supplier.

Managing Director of the Lao Brewery Company (LBC), Mr Henrik Andersen, President of the Lao Brewery Company (LBC), Mr Sounthone Phommachack, along with the company's board of management and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry , Lao Rice Association of Vientiane and the Vientiane steamed rice from the Lao Rice Association. LBC will buy 6,500 tonnes from May to October this year at a cost of 21.5 billion kip to use in the production of Beer.
